To mark our fifth anniversary as a local news service in Qatar, we are holding a community meet-up on Saturday, May 3. During this event, we plan to share some exciting news, offer some giveaways and gain feedback from our community.
The meet-up will be held at the Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel (Al Silia Ballrooms 1 and 2) next Saturday, May 3rd, from 5pm to 7pm.
The event will be a great chance to meet the Doha News team and ask any questions, provide your feedback and let us know your ideas. Grand Hyatt Doha, the official sponsor of the event, will also be providing food and drinks.
If you’re an avid follower of Doha News, care about what we’re doing and want to have your voice heard, you should definitely come.

Some people don’t understand their attitudes are hypocritical and they like to see people arrested for their opinions. Nothing more dangerous than the morally outraged in the Middle East and some other parts of the world.
I’d love to be there but like MIMH I am worried about my liberty given some of my posts.
The way to prevent dissent in a clever way is to only allow discussion within a narrow spectrum but allow complete freedom to say what you want within that narrow band. Welcome to Qatar. (Some subjects off limits)
