The annual major local exhibition will go ahead despite the pandemic.
The Doha Trade Exhibition will return for its second edition between September 24 and October 3 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
Organised by the Qatari Marketers Company in cooperation with the Seqlia Company for Organizing Exhibitions and Conferences, this year’s major event will host over 140 local companies, many of whom will also be selling international products ranging from apparel, leather goods, antiques, food, furniture and more.
“[The exhibition] will be a challenge after an interruption of exhibitions for more than six months due to the coronavirus,” said Mohamed Ammar Al Bunni, General Manager at Seqlia. “This exhibition will support the economy and help revitalise the local market, taking note of safe shopping.”
Al Bunni stated that the exhibition will feature a number of celebrities and social media influencers.
“We are working through this new edition of the exhibition to present a different version, but with the same level of excellence and success,” he added.

With concerns regarding the coronavirus pandemic still shaping daily life, Qatari Marketers Company CEO, Hassan Jumaa, insisted that organisers of the event will follow and enforce the precautionary health measures instructed by the government.
The exhibition will be open to the public from this coming Thursday September 24th at 2pm until 10pm on October 3rd.
