From the Gulf Times:

A fire which broke out in a carpet warehouse in the Industrial Area has caused huge property losses after it continued to an adjacent electrical materials store. 

Three teams of Civil Defence were involved in the firefighting and thus prevented greater damage in the surrounding stores on Street 13 of the Industrial Area. 

The blaze occurred around 5pm and was extinguished after almost two hours.

Sources said investigations are underway to probe the cause of the fire, which has however had no human casualties.
