A 42-story Waldorf Astoria that was scheduled to open in Doha’s West Bay district this year is now eying a late 2017 launch.

Operator Hilton Hotels & Resorts told Zawya Projects this week that it will open in the second quarter of 2017, and that it had fallen behind schedule due to changes in the hotel’s design. The overall budget of the project has also increased to $233 million.
