The Qatar Meteorology Department is warning residents to take care tomorrow as it forecasts the country’s first heat wave of the year.
Temperatures are expected to hover around 44 and 47 degrees Celsius (111-117F) – nine degrees higher than average for this time of the year, the MET said.
QNAÂ reports:Â
The Meteorology Department calls upon all citizens and institutions to take caution during work under the direct sunlight and take the necessary measures to maintain safety.
Staying indoors as much as possible and keeping yourself hydrated are key ways to handle life in Qatar when it gets this hot outside.
