Qatar’s Cabinet has decided to extend the rental contracts of certain non-residential properties until Feb. 2017 over inflation concerns.

According to the Peninsula, the move effectively freezes rent for shops around Qatar, which are governed by Law No. 4 of 2008. But the decision does not apply to office space.
