Some 12 nations have agreed to meet to discuss freezing oil output levels, Qatar’s energy minister has said. The country is hosting talks between OPEC and non-OPEC producers on April 17, with the aim of boosting oil prices.
According to the Associated Press, Minister of Energy and Industry Mohammed Bin Saleh al-Sada said confirmed countries include Qatar itself, as well as Saudi Arabia, Russia, Kuwait, the UAE, Venezuela, Nigeria, Algeria, Indonesia, Ecuador, Bahrain and Oman.
