A new group is launching a monthly flea market in Qatar that will debut this weekend at the Doha Swiss Belhotel.
The organizers behind the Doha Flea Market event, which will be held on Saturday from 4pm to 11pm, are promising low-priced clothes, books, home appliances and other second-hand goods that cost between QR5 and QR200.
Speaking to Doha News, co-founder Mohammed Sapparas said the market will be divided into three sections: second-hand goods; hand-crafted items and fashion; and food.
People who want to sell their goods can apply for tables, but registration for the upcoming event is now closed. Sapparas said the flea market will move locations each month, and could be held outdoors in October. Entry is free and open to the public. Haggling is welcome.
Who’s going? Thoughts?
