Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will make his first official visit to Moscow tomorrow (Jan. 17) where he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin announced.
During the three-day trip, Sheikh Tamim and Putin will discuss issues including the energy sector and current international affairs, “particularly the situation in the Middle East and North Africa”, in addition to trade and economic issues. Possible humanitarian cooperation between the two states will also be on the agenda when the leaders meet on Jan. 18, the Kremlin’s statement added.
