Eid holidays are on and the new James Bond flick Skyfall is out. But if you don’t have a newspaper in front of you, it can be pretty hard to find out about movie timings in Doha.

There are two main cinema companies here: Cineco, which manages Villaggio’s and City Center Mall’s theaters, and Qatar Cinemas, which does Landmark Mall, The Mall, Royal Plaza, Gulf and Doha Cinemas, and soon, the Aspire Ladies Cinema.

The good news, though, is that they’ve both recently launched or retooled their sites with regularly-updated listings.

For those on iPhones and iPads, there’s also an app called “Al Cinema” by ADabisc that you can download for free.
