Travel agents: Now’s a good time to fly out of Qatar, as airfares drop in September
Air travel will finally become more affordable for residents traveling outside of Qatar this month, as airlines drop their exorbitant summer rates, travel agents have told Gulf Times.
Prices peaked this summer as many traveled home, fled the country to cooler climates and also to enjoy Eid break.
But the end of the holidays and the beginning of the school year has many residents staying put this month.
Gulf Times reports:
Fares are likely to drop between 25% and 50% in various sectors for outbound and inbound travel in September, inquiries reveal…
Return economy fare to Mumbai is set to come down to QR1,820 (September 2, 20) from QR2,490 (September 2, 10), (for example.)
See the article for a list of fare drops to other locales, including in the US, UK and Asia.
