Qatar is soliciting residents’ feedback on the states of sports and health here via a brief survey conducted by the Statistics Authority.
Among the topics covered: how you feel about your own body structure, thoughts on the first National Sports Day that was held in February and what your favorite sports activities are.
Qatar’s Emir established the holiday this year as a sign that the country is getting serious about combatting its reputation as the fattest nation on Earth.
The survey also contains questions about residents’ expectations for the 2022 World Cup, including how the games will affect transportation, lodging, traffic and the cost of living here. Inquiries about whether residents would participate in games-related activities or allow their children to do so are also raised.
