More than 60 worksites have been temporarily closed for violating the government’s midday summer work ban provisions last month, the Qatar Tribune reports.

The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor & Social Affairs requires companies in Qatar to stop all outdoor work from 11:30am to 3pm until Aug. 31 due to the heat. Companies that violate this rule can face closures of up to one month.
