Wish you could take better photos on your mobile? Doha News will hold a photography workshop to help you with that on Friday, March 25 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel (Al Nakhil Room).
Being Creative – A Cellphone Photography Workshop is a quick, interactive session designed for beginners and photography enthusiasts who want to express themselves using their mobiles.
It will be taught by international photojournalist Baba Tamim, who will offer unique tips and tricks to improve your storytelling abilities through cellphones.
The workshop runs from 1:30pm to 6:30pm and costs QR400/person (online payment is 427 QR via PayPal). Limited space is still available. Please register online here.
There will also be a two-day DSLR workshop at the Sheraton the following weekend, April 1 and 2.
That event costs QR700/person and will take place in the Dukhan Room from 1:30pm to 6:30pm on Friday, and 1pm to 6pm on Saturday. Doha News members are entitled to 20 percent discount.
