Bahrain is trying five men suspected of plotting attacks against its infrastructure, including the interior ministry, the Saudi-Bahrain Causeway, and the Saudi embassy there.
Qatar arrested four of those men last November and handed them over to Bahraini authorities after reportedly finding suspicious documents and sensitive security information.
The trial defense lawyers are now asking to see Qatar’s investigation files amid allegations that the Bahrain High Criminal Court Judge is not impartial.
