Qatari women are only growing in economic status and reach, according to a recent study by Emirates University.

Women head up at least 346 small & medium business in the country, across trade, manufacturing, real estate and contracting.

Iman Al Basti, a member of the Qatari Businesswomen Association, told the Peninsula newspaper that Qatari women hold 40% of the local industrial sector, and will percent is going up fast.
