Qatar Post (QPost) has introduced paid parking at its general post office in West Bay. Motorists will now be charged QR2 each for the first and second hours, QR3 each for the third and the fourth hours, and QR5 per hour after that. The maximum charge for a day is QR70.

Previously, the four-level lot was free, but this led to it being “abused” by commuters visiting and working in the busy West Bay/Dafna area, an official who was helping to roll out the paid parking at the building told Doha News in April.
