Qatar’s Court of Appeal has upheld jail term sentences and fines for five Marmara Istanbul employees found guilty of selling food unfit for human consumption, according to Al Raya.

However, the court reduced the fine against the restaurant from QR30,000 to QR15,000, following an October 2014 incident in which several people became ill after eating at the Bin Omran branch of the fast-food restaurant, including a pregnant woman.
