Starting today, part of Rawdat Rashid Road will be closed for two months, Ashghal has announced.

Exit 29 of the road that leads to Salwa Road will be shut as the public works authority implements Phase 4 of the Rawdat Rashid Road Development Project.

Additionally, an entrance from Salwa Road to the roundabout marked (2) on the map will be closed to heavy vehicles only.

Trucks can instead drive toward the roundabout marked (1) and then take a U-turn to the main road.

Meanwhile, the road from Roundabout (2) toward Roundabout (3) southbound will also be closed. Drivers coming from Bu Samra will have to drive towards Exit 24, then go back to Salwa Road and enter Rawdat Rashid Road.
