The Qatar Museum’s Authority announced yesterday that a new park at the Museum of Islamic Art would be completed and open to the public on December 16 – just ahead of National Day.

The crescent-shaped MIA Park will host art workshops, storytelling events and film screenings, as well as some art installations and artifacts.
