Al Sadd St. between C-Ring Road and Jawaan St. has been partially closed for construction on the Doha Metro Gold Line project.

In a notice published on Instagram, Qatar Rail said the closure would take effect from April 8 to April 20.

However, the diversion only began over the weekend, so will likely last several days longer than expected.

There are now fewer lanes for through traffic heading toward and away from C-Ring on Al Sadd St.

Commuters may want to plan ahead in the morning as congestion is heavy in that area even without diversions.
