Shopping in Qatar, home of the high markup, can be difficult.

But shopping overseas and expecting packages to get here in a timely, inexpensive matter can be a whole other tribulation.

The most popular and well-known vendor of a shop-and-ship service is Aramex.

But new customs rules and what customers are calling a decline in the quality of service there has people looking for new options.

Luckily, there are a few, writes Khalifa Haroon, founder of ILoveQatar.net, who has compiled a list of such services and compared their prices and offerings.

He writes:

I should add that one of the main reasons that I use Shop and Ship style services is because so many shops in Qatar charge extortionate prices and it only makes sense to buy abroad and ship it over. I actually ended up SAVING 3,000 QR on my top of the line iMac by importing it.
