Residents living illegally in Qatar can now visit the Search and Follow Up Department from noon to 8pm on weekdays to seek amnesty, the Ministry of Interior (MOI) has said.

Qatar has announced a three-month grace period for such residents to leave the country, provided they have the right documents. Turnout has been growing since Sept. 1, and the amnesty will end on Dec. 1.
