MET forecasts wind, rain over next two days
A low pressure spell over the Gulf is causing a sudden shift in the weather that involves increasing winds and dusty conditions, the Qatar Meteorology Department has said.
Expect declining visibility due to blowing dust and sand for the rest of the week, the MET said in a statement. There is also a chance of thunderstorms tomorrow and Thursday, it added.
According to Weather.com, temperatures will fall from a high in the 30Cs (mid-80Fs) to 28C (82F) on Wednesday and 27C (80F) on Thursday. They are expected to rise again this weekend.
Yesterday, the MET told Doha News that summer and temperatures in the 40Cs are still a few months away, and that Qatar is currently enjoying its springtime.
