Noticed the cloudy skies and breezy weather over Doha this morning?

Yep, that does mean that it’s going to rain today, the Qatar Meteorology Department has said.

Expect thunder, lightning and rain to hit Doha anytime from now until evening, a forecast at the MET told Doha News.

The department is also advising those on the water of high seas and high winds:

After the past few warm days, the rain will cool Doha down a bit, with the maximum temperature today hitting 27C (80F) and the minimum, 24C (75F), the forecaster said.
