Four men were killed and three others injured after a car accident on a road linking Al Wakrah to Salwa Road last night, local media reports.

The men, described by one report as “Arab youth,” were killed on the spot after their Landcruiser met head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction.

The driver of the truck was seriously injured, and two others in a sedan that was also involved in the accident escaped with minor injuries, ambulance personnel told the Peninsula.
