Doha News is seeking to hire a news editor on a freelance/full-time basis, to join the team immediately for the rest of the summer, with the possibility of continuing beyond.

We are looking for someone who is energetic and internet-savvy, with experience in both writing and editing online media.

The ideal candidate would be passionate about news in Qatar and the online community that is discussing it.

Daily responsibilities would include researching and writing stories on deadline, as well as coordinating with reporters and editing their work.

Familiarity with WordPress is a big bonus, as is fluency in Arabic. Perfect written English is a requirement. Salary is negotiable.
