That is one bizarre tale!
Some of you may not know that the average Qatari family keeps at least one machine gun in their home. I learnt this fact during a long and interesting conversation with a Qatari guy at work today. The Kalashnikov, because that’s apparently the gun of choice in Doha, is kept for self-defence purposes. When I joking asked if it was used for hunting rabbit, the Qatari looked at me like I was a crazy person and replied, “No, only for people.” Scary.
