In the true spirit of multiculturalism, a man of Korean and Vietnamese heritage, born in KSA and brought up in Jordan will perform stand-up comedy in Arabic this weekend.

Unique doesn’t quite seem to cut it. The comedian in question is Wonho Chung, previously part of the “Axis of Evil” comedy group.

A sometime show host – Chung presented red carpet coverage of the first  Doha Tribeca Film Festival in 2009 – he’s fluent in five languages, and a goodwill ambassador for Korean tourism.

He’ll be taking to the stage at the QNCC on Saturday night at 8pm. Tickets are on sale here, but remember – his show will be performed in Arabic, with no English translation.
