Beginning today, the Pediatric Emergency Center in Al Sadd will stop taking cash as payment for medication and other services, Hamad Medical Corp. has announced.

Payment to the center, which is located on C-Ring Road, can be made by debit or credit card, or a QNB e-cash card, which can be bought for QR20 and topped up to pay for government services, HMC said. The launch follows a three-month trial at the center, and the cashless payment scheme is already being piloted in other HMC facilities.
