There are a number of things to do in Qatar on this sunny Saturday. Here are a few of them:
- Doha Park ends today! The entertainment facility next to the Qatar Exhibition Center wraps up at midnight. More details is available on the bonanza’s Facebook page.
- Katara’s traditional dhow exhibition also ends today. The display includes more than 60 dhows from across the Gulf, as well as their owners and crews. Hear the stories and the history from 9am to noon and 3 to 10 pm. (We’ve heard mixed reviews about this, so if you go please tell us your thoughts!)
- Patrouille de France (PAF), the French Air Force acrobatic team (pictured above), will perform an air show this afternoon from 2 to 3pm at Sheraton Park on the Corniche. Apparently their trial run yesterday was breath-taking, so try not to miss today’s show!
- The American Women’s Association is holding its annual International bazaar at the Grand Hyatt Doha today from noon to 6 pm. Dozens of booths will sell holiday decorations, handmade crafts, jewelry, baked goods, artwork, etc. Tickets are QR20 at the door.
Are we missing anything?
