Eid prayer in Qatar (and across most of the Muslim world) takes place shortly after dawn. This year, it will be at 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 30.
There will be at least 237 places to worship across the country, including spots for women.

Among the popular mosques and main prayer grounds are: Hamad Ali Al Saada mosque in Gharaffa, Al Furqan Middle School in Luqta, Old Rayyan prayer ground opposite Saad Ibn Obaidan mosque, Industrial Area open ground adjacent to Al Attiyah mosque, Barwa mosque at Abu Hamour, Al Saad Sports Club, Hamad Hospital mosque, Rumailah Hospital mosque, Doha Stadium in Old Ghanim area, Al Saal mosque in Mamoura, Arab Sports Club in Hilal, Barwa Village mosque, Wakrah, Imam Muslim mosque in Najma, prayer ground near Muneera bint Sultan mosque, Qatar Sports Club -Westbay, open ground in Al Khor – zone 16 and open ground on Al Khor Corniche.
The following prayer grounds have separate provisions for women: open prayer grounds in Al Nasr, Bin Omran and New Rayyan, Al Wakrah and Wakrah Sports Club as well as the open ground near Muneera bint Sultan mosque at Westbay.
