A new way to be entertained is on offer at Souq Waqif – “Waqif Land,” a fun park of sorts full of games, rides and a Go Kart track.

The venue also includes a 6D cinema, which “exposes the audience to environmental elements such as rain, wind and smell, similar to what the characters in the movie experience,” the Peninsula reports.

Rides like the Drop and Twist Tower, the Side Winder and the Mind Blaster are expected to attract older thrill seekers, while childrens’ games are available in an indoor part of the park.

Prices for the rides, arcade and carnival games at the park, which is slated to stay open for at least three months, range from QR5 to QR50.
