Telecom provider Vodafone Qatar has equipped the Al Khor Workers Sports Complex with wireless internet, providing free access to visitors living in the area.

The complex includes cricket grounds, basketball courts, supermarkets, restaurants, cinemas and other amenities and caters to some 150,000 laborers in Al Khor. In a statement, Vodafone said “we are delighted that thousands of workers will benefit from being included in the digital world and very importantly having a means to stay in touch with their loved ones back home.”
