Qatar’s Ministry of Interior said eight additional injuries were recorded, bringing the total number of injuries since the onset of the attack to 16, alongside limited material damage in several areas.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Doha confirmed that, based on the latest available information, “there are no citizens of Uzbekistan among those reported injured.”
This statement comes following confirmation from Qatar’s Ministry of Interior that the total number of injured reached 16, alongside reports of limited material damage in several areas.
Officials said they are monitoring the situation and coordinating to ensure the safety of Uzbek nationals residing in or visiting Qatar.
The Embassy emphasised that it “continues to take all necessary measures within its mandate to safeguard the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of Uzbekistan.”
In an advisory, the embassy urged citizens to “remain calm, avoid panic, and rely solely on official sources of information.”
It also strongly recommended that all citizens follow the instructions and regulations issued by the competent authorities of the State of Qatar and avoid unnecessary travel for safety reasons.
