talabat shared the results of its “Share an Iftar” campaign for Ramadan 2026.
talabat announced on Sunday the results of its Ramadan 2026 “Share an Iftar” campaign in Qatar, highlighting the scale of community contributions during the Holy Month.
In Qatar, the campaign delivered 1.5 million shared meals, €343,024 raised in donations (approximately 1.45 Million QAR) and 22,451 contributions from 6,074 donors.
Across the region, the campaign saw more than 24 million shared meals, €1.7 million raised in donations, and over 218,000 contributions from more than 77,000 donors.
“Ramadan is a moment that brings communities together, and this year we saw that at scale. What’s powerful is how small, individual actions can add up to something much bigger,” said Managing Director of talabat Qatar, Francisco Miguel De Sousa.
“As a platform, our role is to make that giving simple and accessible, and the impact we’ve seen in Qatar is a reflection of the generosity of our community.”
In Qatar, the initiative supported local charities, helping deliver meals and financial support to communities during Ramadan and Eid.
The campaign aimed to show how simple, everyday contributions, enabled at scale, can translate into real, measurable impact for communities.
talabat also supported riders through a series of Ramadan initiatives, including Iftar meal distribution reaching approximately 3,000 riders, Hero Meals distribution in collaboration with Qatar Red Crescent Society, and over 35,000 beverages distributed across the rider fleet.
Additional support included grocery and Ramadan care initiatives with more than 34,000 distributions, rider Iftar events, and a ‘Double the Tips’ initiative.
talabat extended its appreciation to partners including Rawa, Rayyan Water, Baladna, Ottoman Turkish Restaurant, Tasty Tea, and Lulu Hypermarket for their support in delivering these initiatives.
