Renowned British singer and song-writer Sami Yusuf will hold a concert at Katara Cultural Village on Thursday, Dec. 6.
Ahead of the concert, Katara will host auditions for young talented singers and instrumentalists who will be given a chance to perform their solo song during the concert.
Auditions will take place on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 10am until 5pm at Katara’s Opera House, building 16. Participants can sign up via Katara’s Facebook page.
Yusuf, who last performed in Qatar four years ago, was recently appointed as the first global ambassador of Silatech, a Qatar-based initiative promoting entrepreneurial skills in the MENA region.
Tickets are on sale at the Virgin Megastore outlets at Landmark and Villaggio malls during store hours, from 9:30am until midnight, and cost from QR75 to QR125.
