The first branch of US restaurant chain IHOP (International House of Pancakes) officially opened its doors to customers today at Gulf Mall.
IHOP is best known for its all-day American breakfast, and fans have been anticipating the restaurant’s opening since before Gulf Mall itself welcomed visitors in April.
The restaurant, which soft-opened last week, is located on the ground floor in the northwest corner of the mall. Opening hours posted are 8am-11pm Saturday through Wednesday, and 8am-midnight on Thursdays and Fridays.
IHOP’s first Middle East franchise opened in Dubai in 2012. The restaurant chain also operates in Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, with plans of eventually opening 40 outlets across the region in partnership with M.H. Alshaya Company.
