Muslim travel website CrescentRating has listed Qatar among its top 10 Muslim-friendly destinations out of countries in the Organization of the Islamic Conference.

Qatar grabbed the number 10 spot out of 53 contenders, boosted by its Museum of Islamic Art, Souq Wagif and shopping malls.

Malaysia was listed as the number one travel destination for Muslims, the UAE number five and Turkey number three.

CrescentRating, which ranks countries based on factors like halal food availability, the availability of mosques and family-friendly attractions, also recommends 10 countries outside the OIC, including Munich (Germany); Delhi (India); and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
