Officials from Qatar’s Armed Forces are asking residents living in or visiting the area around Zekreet to take safety precautions as paratroopers conduct training exercises this week from 6am to 1pm.

Starting this morning and running through to Thursday, Feb. 25, members of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) will be carrying out paratrooper jumps from an altitude of 8,000 feet, the armed forces told QNA.
