Qatar ministry issues sweeping recall of Mitsubishi Pajeros

Authorities have ordered a widespread recall of a popular SUV in Qatar over airbag issues.

Anyone driving a Mitsubishi Pajero that was manufactured between 2007–2016 should contact the dealer for a free repair, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce said yesterday.

This is because there are concerns that the driver side air bag inflator may be deteriorated, the ministry added.

Oman issued a similar recall of the vehicles last month.
