After a few days of warmer weather, temperatures in Qatar this week will fall from a high of 26C (79F) to 21C (70F), several degrees lower than normal for this time of year.
In a statement, the Qatar Meteorology Department (MET) said the weather will cool down starting tonight due to a new pressure front, adding:
“The minimum will range between 12 to 14C and less than 10C (50F) at southern and open areas.”

In addition to the drop in temperature, strong winds are expected to blow in on Wednesday, which will kick up dust and drop horizontal visibility to 2km or less, the MET added.
There will also be a chance of light rain showers through Friday, with temps expecting to go up after Saturday.
