Qatar Foundation has announced a new partnership  with Harvard Law School’s Institute for Global Law and Policy (IGLP) to help develop a new graduate law school in the country.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University (better known as Education City) is looking to launch a law school offering a doctoral program, a faculty development initiative and a research institute.

Under the new arrangement, Qatar Foundation will become a leading sponsor in Harvard’s Institute for Global Law and Policy, while IGLP will provide QF with advice and expertise on establishing a law school. IGLP will also be hosting an annual workshop in Qatar to bring together young scholars of law and policy from around the world.
