A Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Chicago was diverted and had to make an emergency landing in Moscow yesterday (Apr. 7) for a passenger who fell ill, Russian news agency TASS reported.
Flight QR725 landed at the Russian capital’s Domodedovo airport at 2:25pm local time and was met by medics who treated the passenger for toxic shock syndrome, the agency said, citing the airport’s press service. The flight took off again at 4:30pm Moscow time and arrived in Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport more than four hours later than scheduled, at 6:50pm, according to Qatar Airways’ online flight status.
