Limited flights to and from Doha have been confirmed by Qatar Airways for March 9, 10 and 11 amid the temporary airspace closure.
Qatar Airways has announced a limited flight schedule for March 9, 10, and 11 to support passengers affected by the temporary closure of Qatari airspace.
The airline said the flights follow temporary authorisation from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirming limited operating corridors.
“Qatar Airways intends to operate the following flight schedule in the coming days to support passengers who have been affected due to the current disruption, and in helping them reunite with family and friends as quickly and safely as possible,” the airline said in a statement on X.
Flights departing Doha on March 9 will head to Seoul, Moscow, London Heathrow, New Delhi, Madrid, Islamabad, Beijing, Perth and Nairobi.
On March 10, departures will cover Cairo, London Heathrow, Jeddah, Manila, Kochi, Muscat, Istanbul, Mumbai, New Delhi, Nairobi, Islamabad, Madrid, Frankfurt, Colombo and Milan.
Arrival flights into Doha follow the same destinations one day later, March 10 and 11 respectively.
Additionally, Qatar Airways operated repatriation flights on March 8 to Amsterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt, London and Zurich, prioritising stranded passengers with families, elderly travellers, and those with urgent medical or compassionate travel needs.
The airline said the limited schedule does not constitute a resumption of full commercial operations and advised passengers not to travel to airports unless they hold a confirmed ticket. A further update will be provided on March 9.
“The safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew remain our highest priority,” the airline said, apologising for the inconvenience and thanking passengers for their patience.
For the latest flight updates, passengers are urged to visit the Qatar Airways website, mobile app, or contact their travel agent.
