Qatar 2022 World Cup matches could be held at night: FIFA VP
The Vice President of FIFA, Jim Boyce, is recommending Qatar host 2022 FIFA World Cup matches at night – as late as 10pm – since temperatures would be much cooler, and would catch prime broadcast hours in the UK.
Others, including UEFA head Michel Platini, have suggested the tournament be held in winter, rather than in summer.
