This weekend is the last chance to check out Eid al-Fitr-related festivities at Souq Waqif.

Its Ukrainian circus will hold two shows each on Friday and Saturday at Al Rayyan Theater.

The first show runs from 5pm to 6:30pm, and the second show of the evening is from 8pm to 9:30pm. Tickets cost QR50/person for regular seats and QR100/person for VIP seating.

The souq is one of many venues in Qatar that this year scaled back Eid celebrations out of solidarity for the ongoing crisis in Gaza, in which more than 1,400 Palestinians, mostly civilians, have been killed in an Israeli bombing campaign.

However, while it has canceled concerts, children’s activities are still ongoing. In addition to the circus performances, the souq has set up a separate tent for kids’ entertainment, games and face painting.
