Hundreds of Pakistani expats in Qatar gathered at their embassy yesterday to hold a funeral prayer for the late Abdul Sattar Edhi, a philanthropist who died earlier this month.

Speaking to Doha News, longtime resident Hafeezullah said, “Today we are here to offer our respect and condolences to the great social worker in Pakistan Dr. Abdul Sattar Edhi…We were not in Pakistan (when he died), but we have offered our respect through this prayer.”
