Mowasalat: Three private taxi companies to ‘enter the fray’ in the next two years
State-run transport authority Mowasalat says three companies will be selected from the 24 applicants to operate private taxi services in Qatar, the Peninsula newspaper reports.
One taxi company would be selected to begin within six months, while the other two would be introduced “at a later stage,” the newspaper quotes Mowasalat chairman Jassim Al Sulaiti as saying.
