Following on Qatar Museums Authority’s Garangao celebrations this evening and tomorrow, Katara will be organizing its own festivities on Thursday night.
The Cultural Village will be recreating the traditional feel of Garangao celebrations by giving kids the opportunity to go door-to-door down its winding alleys calling out for candy and gifts.
Keen participants will be gathering around 7pm at Katara’s Building 16 before taking guided tours down the Firij Al-Bida and Firij Al-Jasra routes to collect their goods.
The night rounds out at 9:30pm with an open screening of the Emirati cartoon Freej, completed with costumed characters from the show in the courtyard behind the Katara Art Center, Building 5.

Sounds like a fun night for kids – who’s going?
